HOW WE WORK
How We Work
From initial assessment to channels, sales and deliveryWe work with manufacturers of new energy and smart home products on North American market entry, from consultation and assessment to To B channel development, To C local sales and service, and warehousing and logistics.
Manufacturers may choose a single service or work with the Institute to coordinate several business areas, according to their stage of development and needs. Scope, responsibilities and schedules are agreed after initial discussions and assessment.
Consultation & Assessment
Define a practical route based on your products and business.
We assess your products, existing business and North American market objectives together, identifying suitable channels, preparation needs and practical ways to collaborate.
- Product and business review
- Review product features, target customers, existing sales, supply capacity and plans for international growth.
- Market and channel assessment
- Assess product positioning and routes to market in light of local demand, comparable products and channel characteristics.
- Local adaptation assessment
- Identify improvements needed in product configuration, installation, packaging, documentation and after-sales support, including certification and compliance matters requiring further verification.
- Market entry and partnership planning
- Agree on priority business areas, responsibilities, resource commitments and phased work arrangements.
Where appropriate, sample testing, channel feedback or small-scale trial sales can provide evidence for the next stage.
